Elections for the board of the German Water Partnership

 

Dr. Werner Arts was elected to the board of the German Water Partnership.

Since April 2008 the association of German Water Partnership e.V. has been in existence. This network is comprised of private and public companies, research institutes, as well as associations and institutes of the German water economy and is supported by four federal government departments and the ministry of foreign affairs.

The German Water Partnership wants to bring together the main players in the German water sector and to represent their expertise to an international audience.

At the general meeting on 15th June 2010 during the annual conference the board of the German Water Partnership was elected. Previously Dr. Gerd Sagawe of Enviro-Chemie GmbH and Dr. Werner Arts of LAR Process Analysers AG had been recommended by the VDMA as candidates. We are pleased to announce that both were elected onto the board. We congratulate all members of the board in their election.

Dr Werner Arts is pleased with the outcome. He would like to thank all his supports for their confidence and will champion the interests of small and medium-sized companies in the water sector, as well as those of the research groups in the network. As a president of a small and medium-sized company himself he can aprreciate the interests and problems of other small and medium-sized companies.
