QuickTOC®condensate - Patented gas calibration method
The analyser enables a precise calibration in the lowest measuring ranges at all time.
The calibration and validation of the TOC analysers calibration function in measuring ranges of 0-2,000 µg/l and lower is always a difficult task for the operator. The preparation of the calibration solution is time-consuming and requires precision.
LAR AG offers a newly developed and patented gas calibration method to simplify this step. Thanks to the calibration gas the QuickTOC®condensate enables and checks the calibration even in the lowest measuring ranges at all time, without the usual amount of work and without the usual contamination risk from a calibration solution. Afterwards the calibration can also be verified through the calibration gas.
This innovation is based on the proven catalyst-free high temperature combustion method at 1200°C from LAR, which guarantees the complete decomposition of all organic compounds.
QuickTOC®condensate uses a closed valve system for the sample injection to avoid sample contaminations with ambient air. Through the special batch processing larger sample quantities can be injected into the decomposition unit. Through the use of inert materials accurate and offset-free measuring results within the lowest measuring ranges are guaranteed.
The new TOC measurement system QuickTOC®condensate is characterised by extremely low maintenance requirements of only a few minutes a week. In TC mode the analyser even works completely without using reagents. Compared to standard methods the operational and maintenance costs can be reduced significantly by this remarkable innovation.
The state-of-the-art LAR analyser is especially suitable for ultra pure and cooling water monitoring, as well as boiler feed and condensate measurements according to the international regulations of the power plant industry.
