The BioMonitor® uses the plant's own biomass, as in a miniature WWTP. Within the reactor cascade the activated sludge decomposes the substances in the sample water. On using this reference cascade the biological oxygen demand needed for the decomposition is determined within 3 to 4 minutes.
Even being able to detect toxic harmful toward the biomass itself, the BioMonitor® is also suitable at WWTP effluents and within the environmental protection field, where it also monitors and controls the water quality fast and reliably.
