LAR's QuickCOD®_i is an online COD measurement system for the determination of Total Carbon (TC),  Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) and  Total Organic Carbon (TOC) and suitable even for the most difficult waste water applications.

The  high temperature method with combustion at 1200°C guarantees the complete oxidation of the sample. Even loads with a salt concentration of up to 20% and in the case of NaCl as much as 30%, are easily melted at this temperature. Combined with its low operational costs this analyser is ideal for environmental compliance, or for the monitoring of product loss and process efficiency.

LAR's unique robot system is capable of transporting and measuring a high content of solid matter without any filtration of the sample. The QuickCOD®_i is designed to operate in a batch mode. The COD is analysed in 1 minute. This speed guarantees that also very short peaks can be determined during a daily cycle.
