The demands on clean water in the industry and power plants are constantly growing. A possible contamination of boiler feed water and condensate retrun by organic pollutants become more and more important because of the hence resulting risk for the entire steam plant. According to VGB-R450L and ASME regulations the TOC content, (as preferred or required parameter for organic contamination) should be <0.2 mg/l TOC. Furthermore "it is recommended to acquire less than 0.1 mg/l TOC." (cit. VGB).

With the patented catalyst-free high-temperature method at 1,200 °C the total carbon is oxidised completely. The QuickTOCcondensate successfully detects any short measurement peaks throughout the course of the day by delivering the single results within only 2-5 minutes.

The simple and ready-at-any-time calibration -for which LAR has filed a patent- uses a predefined gas in a closed system. This revolutionary calibration method prevents any contaminations in contrast to liquid standards and eases the handling considerably.
