The demands on clean water in the industry and power plants are constantly growing. A possible contamination of boiler feed water and condensate return by organic pollutants is becoming of ever increasing importance, because of the hereby induced risks for the entire steam plant. According to VGB-R450L and ASME regulations the TOC content, (as the preferred or required parameter for organic contamination) should be <0.2 mg/l TOC. Furthermore "it is recommended to acquire less than 0.1 mg/l TOC." (cit. VGB).

With the patented catalyst-free high-temperature method at 1200 °C the total carbon is oxidized completely. The QuickTOCcondensate successfully detects any short measurement peaks during a daily cycle by delivering the single results within only 2-5 minutes.

The simple and ''ready-at-any-time'' patented calibration, for which LAR has filed a patent, uses a predefined gas in a closed system. This revolutionary calibration method, in contrast to liqued standards, prevents any contaminations and eases the handling considerably.
