Don't pour money down the drain!

Analyse your condensate's purity fast and reliably.
Crude oil refinement is an energy intensive process. Producing steam and hot water is vital for many types of installations for generating power, driving turbines, utility pumps and process heating. Although the steam cools and becomes condensate, it is still hot, contains energy, remains valuable and can be reused. The more steam that is reused, the less costly demineralised make-up water must be produced. However, the reused steam condensate's purity is of extreme importance, as impurities can harm the boiler installation, pipe system or boiler itself. Despite inspections and maintenance there is always a risk of a break through leading to pure products e.g. hydrocarbons, crude oil, petrol, kerosene and lube oils leaking into the return condensate. However, it is possible to monitor the quality of the return condensate using a quick online TOC analyser and to drain it off as soon as a trip alarm TOC level is exceeded.

Online TRUE TOC analysis of industrial waste water

TRUE TOC-process analysers continuously measure the sum of dissolved organic carbon and organic particles in waste water. Unfortunately, most process TOC-analysers have trouble with waste water samples that have a high load of suspended organic particles. Firstly, these organic particles, e.g. slime, algae's, grease and other difficult particulates, tend to block the so-called wetted parts of an analyser. Sample filtration is used to avoid this problem. However, the TOC outcome of such a TOC-analyser system measured is far too low.
