Odra-Vistula Flood Management Project for Poland

As a reaction on flood episodes in 1997, 2006 and 2010, showing vulnerability of large manufacturing, commercial and tourist centers, the Republic of Poland wants to strengthen their flood protection. For that reason, the World Bank finance the Odra-Vistula Flood Management project for Poland.

From 2015 to 2023 Poland aims to strengthen the sustainability of economic and social development, the extension of existing monitoring systems, and the collection and monitoring of water quality data.
