Content: Waste water from breweries is characterized by high and frequently changing peak loads in flow and concentrations of waste. To monitor waste water, the analyzer should be adjusted to the requirement of the individual application. The following article introduces experiences of a big African brewery during a trial run of a COD-analyzer, as well as the use of monitoring the inlet and outlet of a waste water treatment plant in this brewery.
